e-grou controls access to mail registers and documents, preventing users to access documents directly through the network. Since only the metadata are stored in a MS SQL Server database, e-grou can manage and control a large number of documents. The systems administrator can configure both the backup of the document vault and the backup of the MS SQL database to automate the creation of security backups.
Open infrastructure
By resorting to an established commercial database and to an appropriate product design, e-grou offers an open architecture. Its API allows integration with other products, either developed in-house or by third party companies and warrants access and recovery of your documents.
Security and stability
e-grou uses Microsoft’s SQL Server database. By resorting to a database that is a reference for many software houses around the world, e-grou secures your data and investment. You may assign different levels of security to your documents, making it possible to specify in detail for each document the user groups that are allowed to access it and their access rights.
